Any chance of a christmas special a la black friday?

Also, I'm debating between the 4" muffled and 5" muffled. Heard from some people that they wish the 5" was louder, and also heard from some people that the 4" was too loud, so I'm not sure. The volume of the STP catback was just right. Any thoughts on which of the two muffled versions is closest? I'll be runnning a stock MP and DP on my STI.

Volume is so very subjective. My personal favorite is the 5" muffled version (disclaimer, I prefer quieter)

If volume is ever a concern for you, we always recommend going with the 5", if you are just looking for something a little more mild than the delete, we recommend the 4".

Looking at exhausts is the only time I wish I had a sedan and not a hatch...can you do a Christmas deal with 5" mufflers, 3.5" double wall staggered tips for $600 shipped?

No Christmas deal this year, but we may be doing some kind of sale around New Years, I'll let you guys know once I have more information.

We can certainly do a flared tip for you, but I am not really sure what exactly you are looking for. Give me a call at the shop or send me a PM and we can discuss it.

We can also do Bosozoku style

Is there any long term structural difference between single and double wall or is all cosmetic?

Also I noticed you do not offer 3.5" single wall in a staggered setup, assuming that's not possible?

Have you had any long term negative results with the larger exhausts and bumper burn or discoloration over time?

Last but not least, ouch on the shipping, do you guys ever offer free shipping options? I live in Kentucky, the best price you had was Fedex ground for $40.

I've seen a couple videos for the axleback with the 5" muffler on WRXs but not STis. Are there any differences in the stock MP or DP that would make it louder for the STi than the WRX?

Best suggestion for an 05 LGT on size? Or is there only the one size for it?

We used to be able to get the single wall tips with a gap that would allow us to stagger them, but we have not seen those in some time now, with no real timeline on their availability unfortunately.

There is no difference in tip style other than aesthetics.

The only issues we have seen with discoloration on the bigger tips is on cars logging serious track time. If this is your plan for the car, we recommend this product:

http://www.heatshieldproducts.com/pr...ield-mat/79/21

And $40 for ground shipping is pretty standard for us. We do free shipping every once in a while, but our current sale ends up covering shipping cost in most cases.

In our experience we have not seen any notable difference between the two, so I would not expect a change in sound or volume with our exhaust from car to car.

As of right now we only offer the LGT exhausts with one tip style, but we can do them in a delete, 4" muffled version, and 5" muffled version.

Whats the dB level for the 5" muffler at WOT? The website says the 4" is 10 dB lower than the deletes and the 5" is even lower, but it doesn't say what the raw number is. I'm just curious as to whether it'll pass Laguna Seca's 92 dB rating, or if I'd have to put the stock mufflers back on each time I go to the track.

We have had several of our exhausts in many configurations pass the sub 95dB requirements for track days with no hitches, you should be just fine. The reading that you get depends wholly on how far away you are taking the reading from.

Which size is louder 4" or the 5"? Or are they pretty close to being even?

Bigger the muffler, quieter it will be. So the 4" will be louder than the 5"

Are you guys still planning on doing a relocation kit for the WRX? I've got your front plate delete sitting on a shelf right now. I'd like to see if you can do it at a lower price point than Grimmspeed.

Still have the R&D pieces for them, and we are still planning on it. It will most likely happen once we have our CNC mill up and running.

would piecing together a full exhaust by first buying the axle back, then the mid section be the same as buying the full catback? or would you make the y section bigger when you dont have to bolt it up to the stock sections on the full catback setup?

Buying the catback or buying the midpipe and axleback separately will yield the exact same parts. Our exhausts are designed as a modular unit, meaning you can add a little, or a lot, and retain all of the compatibility without making modifications.

I just installed the 5" muffled axleback tonight, and it sounds awesome. Great fit and finish and all that.

I did notice that one side hangs lower than the other. Any tips on evening it out?

Just play with the bushings. Did you buy any from Nameless? Use a shorter towards rear of car to suck it up closer towards valance etc. You can bend the exhaust hangers too.

How many bushings do you recommend buying to avoid this problem?

The Nameless bushings are the same length as the stock units, they're made of a stiffer material though.
