Default Back seat folddown pin repair

I seem to have pulled out the pin that unlocks the rear seat back to fold down (driver's side pin), and am not sure how to go about trying to reconnect it.

Anyone else done this, that can share some tips? The passenger's side one still works, but I'd prefer to have the driver's side pin usable as well!

Thanks in advance.

It doesn't appear to be a screw in peg. That would be far to easy.

Looking down the hole, it appears as though there is a collar, which has a bent rod inside of it, which goes through a hole in the back seat release pin.

I'm willing to take the back seat apart to do it, but I'm not even sure where to start with that.
