Default How much is my car worth?

Sooo I've got a sweet WRX that like exploded ( ) but anyway thats besides the point. Its being rebuilt as I type and here's what we're looking at...

2005 Subaru Impreza WRX - Silver

Flood Title
132k on Chassis
~75k on Stock Springs
~60k on Tein Springs & ----- Struts (cant recall brand lol but its a great low responsive ride with feeling in every bump which i love but the stock springs are going in for winter)

-0 Miles on 2.5 Block
-"STi Hybrid Engine"
-Machined 2.0 Heads to fit 2.5
-EJ25 0 miles (will sell @ 500-700 miles if I decide to so its broken in)
-VF22 IHI Turbo (rare/discontinued)
-STi Hood
-STi Pink Injectors
-Walbro 355
-Full 3" Invidia Exhaust
-Invidia 4" Downpipe
-DNA Uppipe
-DNA Headers
-DNA SSQV BOV
-DNA Dual Row Radiator
-Mishimoto Silicone Radiator Hoses
-ARP Head Studs
-New Water Pump
-New Timing Belt
-New Timing Belt Components
-New Infamous OEM PCV Assembly
-New Coil Packs
-New Spark Plugs or Pulse Plugs (haven't decided...)
-New Turbo Oil Line
-New Dowel Pins
-STi Intercooler
-*Cometic Gasket MAY be included OR installed,
-*Tune down compression if Cometic Gasket not used
-ECU Tune
-ALL NEW GASKETS (like everything. )
-Speakers in great condition
-Pioneer 6" Touchscreen Deck
-Rolling DVD Ability
-Blitz Turbo Timer
-Manual Boost Controller
-Short Shifter
-New Valve Stem Seals
-Impreza wheels with good tires
-ADR Sokodu 18" Wheels not wrapped (yet) repainted
-New Front Bumper and Driver's Fender (someone smashed it in a parking lot or something i dont know previous owner bs)
-New Wipers/Blades
-New Fluids
-New Brakes
-Repainted Calipers (lime green)
-Air freshener
-Beautiful MA Legal tint (bubbling a bit in rear windsheild)
-Crack in Windshield, but Safelited
-Sick smoked signals on the taillights
-Wired for Subwoofers w/ ground (nothing included except for wires - plug&play)
-If not sold before, also comes with stock exhaust, muffler, TD04, Intercooler with Y-pipe, Up/Downpipe

*Some people suggest STi OEM gasket with high compression and to tune it lower if needed, but some use the Cometic Gasket to lower compression without the tune. But as you can see with these parts it's in need of a tune no matter what.

So those of you know about WRX Hybrids know they're torque monsters. I can't wait to drive this thing, but truthfully some things in life need to come before my car until i become a rally champion (ha) since im unemployed sooooooooo
I figured i could sell the car for a decent chunk of change, pay off my loan for the car in the first place, pay back mom for helping me out these last couple months, pay my mechanic (hes the ****), and buy something a little cheaper, maybe older, but outright with no loan or an extremely short term finance.

fire away people! im available to answer any questions, thanks in advance, ill see you around.
And if any of you are bruins fans the whole Marchand bs just added to my raaaaaaagggeee

So it doesn't work, and has a flood (salvage) title?

$1500. Max. Part it out and get rid of the shell.

After the rebuild? $500 less than you paid for the motor.

just so say it im pretty sure it met minimum requirements, you'd never know till you looked at the title. it was sold from a used dealer a couple years ago with that title for pretty expensive. Let's say it WASN'T a salv, what you think this thing would pull in?

Let's say it's a Bentley.

It doesn't matter what it looks like, what matters is that it's a salvage.

Also, ibtl. Something tells me Jack will end this soon.

Did you know it was a salv title when you bought it? Even if it was a freshwater "flood" where only the carpets got wet, its still salvage. The specifics to it aren't really important.

I think your best bet would be to part it out.

You can get the title.

If you're a licensed shop.

Or if it was restored by a licensed shop.

And documented properly.

And inspected.

And passes said inspection.

And you pay an arm and half a leg.

It's not going to be worth the hassle.

And that is what sucks about flood. The car could have been completely submerged in salt water, or had the sunroof and windows left open during a downpour. Take your value and cut in half.

We had a guy from Lowell whose car was caught in a fresh water flood (did I need to say that....Lowell isn't on any ocean I know of) and it had an STi swap ina GC8. Insurance company did a bacteria test. Failed. The could not (under law, I believe) return it to him. He got GC8 money total from what I remember.

It would have failed the bacteria test just from being parked in Lowell, regardless of the water!

Go on Coparts website, get their number and give them a try. They sometimes give good offers on car if it runs and drives and if you have a title. Idk about a salvage tilte but give it a shot.

Salvage title and high miles on the chassis kills the value. But depending on how clean all the work was done, it will boost the value a bit.

Also, you will easily max out 565s with a vf22 and a 2.5 hybrid, so you may or may not want to look into larger injectors.
