No. You might have to wait a couple of months, but no it is not unreasonable.

Well, rather than having to eat the depreciation on your WRX and rather than having to eat more depreciation on an STi or S2000 or Evo MR, why not have an STi drivetrain put in your present car? Keep your stock motor as back up (or PX it for the 2.5), have some minor work done to the STi stuff (lightweight flywheel, exhaust etc) and have an HP and torquemonster WRX that will shred the competition?
And you can probably save a buck or 2. |

You still didn't paint your side skirts?
Getting an 05 STi at invoice isn't realistic. There are enough stupid people that will pay MSRP to get the newest Impreza. The dealer most likely won't give up their STi that easily. Unless you get a hold of the dude that sold you your WRX, you're gonna have to wait a few months. Full_Clip hopes to see some STi pics soon from xfactor. |

xfactor, be sure to test drive the STi and make sure it's the right car for you. The STi feels nothing like the regular WRX; it's much harder to drive fast, more expensive to repair and operate (think 16.5-18 mpg on 94 octane), more expensive to insure, and not as comfortable. That being said, I prefer my STi over my old WRX a bunch, but they are completely different driving experiences. |
