Default 225/55/16 tires on 03 WRX Wagon w/ stock rims

Hey,

Anyone have 225/55/16 size tires on their 02-03 WRX Wagon w/ stock rims? Any rubbing at all? Any input is appreciated, thanks.

I had 225/40's on my 18's. No rubbing whatsoever.

My car came with 225/65/16s on stock rims. It rubbed.... slightly. You should be just fine.

grey, or is it gray?

Probably no rubbing, but you might sacrifice sidewall rigidity and overall performance by putting tires that wide on a 6.5" rim.
