It is Stainless Steel, it has to be for me. I will be running E98 mixed with VP AutoImport.

Sweet setup, looks sexy as hell.

Its pretty easy to keep cruise control with a dbw throttle though

SCRATCH THAT, I SEE YOUR CABLE THROTTLE.

did you get custom cables made?

I really like that color manifold. You should make correlating pipes a matching color .

Factory cables, my module for cruise is so close to hitting the turbo. Its hard to tell, but my pipes are painted Cgm to match the exterior of the car. I need to paint my strut tower brace red to match now.

i know this was probably covered in here somehwere throughout the 70 something pages of posts, but has anyone run into a problem with only running one of the stock cooling fans? im looking at my setup and seeing that if i put the drivers fan back in im going to have to route the piping up and around rather than a direct shot from intercooler to tb. any advice will help. thanks

Looks good! I like the brake master cylinder brace built into the strut tower brace.

Im running 2.75 piping on the cold side with no problem running both fans, many people in here are running both fans also.

not enough of these set up like you are doing - nice job, ruben!

oh and thanks for all the amazing porting and polishing work. you're prices were much better than grimmspeed. i got a turbo coming your way for your special touch.

looking forward to seeing that car when it's done. no hood clearance issues?

Plans for now are just trying to get this hood to close.

Its all bolted down and the hood closes without the throttle body but once I go to attached the TB the IAC hits.

Removed the IAC and everythings fits but I really dont like the idea of bypassing the IAC and just using the idle screw to keep the car on lol.

I assume DBW guys could just turn the TB and not have to deal with my issues.

I already cleared the AVCS and the rails fit so I'm half way home

I'm considering doing the reverse intake since I have friend that can weld nicely and a Perrin FMIC but will most likely be keeping my stock turbo. I'm only considering doing the reverse intake because I will be going forged pistons maybe even rods since I now have low compression on cylinder 3 and will be going the blow thru MAF route since it makes more since to have the ecu reading the true temp and volume of air going in to the throttle body.

My main question is has any of you seen a stock location turbo with reverse mount intake and a blow thru MAF done? Also any direction to where I can find more info on this would be appreciated.

Yeah, its been done. I recommend you ditch the maf and go speed density.

Try again. Maf's DO NOT like to see boost. That's why they are before the turbo, yes it can be done but no one likes to tune them. Do some more reading and loose the maf as suggested.
