i thought the air temp sensor was a newer thing... the one I have seen is on 04+ NA motors in the intake tubing after the filter... but the 99 didn't have one in that area, so I don't think it has one... if it does, i have no clue... talk to peaty...

i havent heard of this on my 01, that doesnt mean it doesnt exist on the 99 (or mine for that matter).
