I would have to say May 4 because anyone who is a student will be out of university at that time.
I remember someone mentioned in a prior post that there were some other events going on in Edmonton. I would ensure that these dates do not coincide with those. Keenan |

Yeah, yeah, whenever. As long as it's May 4. I can make that one for sure, as long as no tow trucks block the driveway this time.

Fellas,
Spoke to the manager at RallySubaru, SAT MAY 4 , 1pm- 3pm will be the big meet....Please can anyone e-mail me at [email protected], those who are coming, name and tel#!! I need the numbers for the manager to order food for BBQ and drinks....A Channel will be there and it will be announce on 92.5 FM station... A card will be made for us to get discount on parts... He is working to get us a break on tune up etc.... This includes C- town owners!.. As per Markus suggestion, we should be getting the club registered accordingly and that way, we could get support for discounts at few places...(e.g...Kal tire, body shop (Auto dynamics), J.B auto, A&B sound etc). Calgary fellas, I know you guys have lots of contact and may be one could set up the club to order aftermarket goodies. Just a thought!! NEED EVERYONE INPUT!! Thanks, Feng |

I know a great guy at Kal Tire in Sherwood Park that will bend over backwards for Subie Wheels (he did it for me and two others that I know of).
I'll let you know what he says. As far as an official "club" is concerned, we should get everyone's input, but understand that we will have to register as a non-profit organization and a bit of other ground work. Tarun tried this about two years ago, but the response was rather lackluster to say the least. Now that the WRX is out and Subie and performance are considered part of the same sentence, we should be able to get more support. However, these things do cost money (i.e. club membership fee). I will talk to Jerry Wood of the Edmonton Corvette club and get his advice on how to set up a club. I'm sure he'll have a world of advice for us since they've been around for a long time. Cheers, MB |

Thanks Markus!!!!Yes, we should seriously look into registering a non- profit club.
I strongly believe a fee would not be a problem. One who can afford to drive a SUBY and upgrade it gradually, would go for it.... We could have our own autocross practice etc...There is a track outside Edmonton, remember seeing the advertisement somewhere... Scoobiesnaxx...saw that in your wagon, i believe.... Anyonelse? Peace out, Feng |

The track is in Ft. Sask. and is only for shifter carts and bikes. Looks like I'll have to bring out the GSXR-1000
I'd pay the fee as long as its under 50 bux. |

Spoke with my contact at Kal Tire today.
He is willing to provide "card carrying" Alberta i-club members free labour dor anyone buying wheels/tires off of him, and a percentage off the retail price. Percentage would depend upon the wheel/tire combo. $50.00 Geez, even I can't afford that Like I said, I'll see Jerry Wood at the Autocross on the 21st and I should have a better idea what the cost would be after that. We can then throw the idea around with everyone on May 4th. |
