You don't need them. Don't run them. Once you go a couple hundred ho over stock you might need them depending on fuel.

You don't need an FMIC. An upgraded TMIC would be more than sufficient.

True, but a fmic would work better. More efficient.

Your link is for a SRT-4 turbo? Also, a gt3076 would be perfect for ya. Or the newer gtx3071. Particularly in rotated. Also would be cheaper than some proprietary AGP turbo (who apparently is using old tech anyway). Also, go with 1000cc injectors, no reason to go smaller. And are you sure you want a straight pipe? It's going to be unbearably loud.

Get 1000cc injectors, no reason to go smaller. Plus, if you want more you can easily throw a bigger turbo on with no issues.

A BOV and a EWG are two very different things. The EWG lets exhaust escape so you don't over boost, the BOV vents boost from the air intake when you let off the gas. To very different things, research both some more.

A bigger turbo inlet pipe is a pain to fit, but you will probably want to run an aftermarket one just so it's easier to put on and off. The stock one cracks very often when you remove it, particularly on these older cars.

Idk why I worded it like that lol. I will have a bov and it was more of a should I invest in an EWG setup, is it necessary

i have an 2013 sti sedan and i want to be putting around 500-550hp to the wheels

not sure what type of dyno ill be on, im trying to find some really good shops in the area and really havent any good luck, i want things to be done right with some of the best parts. this the planning process for me im gonna get the basic stuff along the way but i plan on getting these parts and installing them around june/july.

I live in the bi polar state of Texas in Houston

Whatever suggested by you, I recently came to becoma an owner of a Subaru from a mustang gt, and 550hp at the wheels would typically be 93 octane.

and im perfectly fine with those FMIC!

I come from a race enthusiast type of family. my brother just bought a ZR1 and that car makes mine look like a prius, i want to be able to hang with it if not beat it.

Yeah I know a lot of SRT-4 people use this turbo but the whole rotated kit is already on my car, and this turbo is 50lb/min and a 30r is 52lb/min so not too much smaller. 820cc's have been in the car for months so I'm not changing them out lol, and the straight pipe has been on my car too and I love it.

I'm not an engineer but you said anything is appreciated so here is my 'get what you pay for' opinion: Can't say if 350 is possible but to get close with that set up it would probably take an aggressive tune and/or E85. I think many will say you need bigger injectors, a bigger fuel pump, and an ECBS. What I hear about intercoolers tends to be 1. Stay top mount unless you're using a bigger turbo 2. FMIC's take a little longer to spool.
My best advice? Contact a reputable tuner in addition to what you see on here.
Also, see if you can find an equivalent setup here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ht=vf48+thread
Here is how one guy did it: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/power-br...hp-360wtq.html
In this post some guy lists mods needed: https://www.toronto-subaru-club.com/...t-350-whp.html
Cheers and props on the EWG can't wait to get mine on.

I wish! An exhaust doesn't give as much HP on our cars as other cars.

I have a '11 WRX with catback, intake, custom mild tune. looking at injectors, fuel pump, dp. Wondering what other mods I would need to reach my goals:

1. HP at the WHEELS (whp) or hp at the CRANK (chp)?
300-350whp would prefer closer to 350whp
2. What type of dyno are you going to be shooting for this number on?
DynoJet
3. If possible, tell us what shop it is. Someone may know how high or low that particular dyno reads.
Most Likely Moore Automotive
4. Where do you live? If not a well known city, what is the elevation?
Front Royal VA
5. What kind of gas will you be using? (octane level)
91
6. Are you opposed to a FMIC?
Would rather stay TM

Thanks! I actually changed my mind and I am skipping the TMIC and going with ID 1000cc injectors, walbro fuel pump and then gettin protuned after putting the rest of my parts on.

So if i get turboback, intake and a tune, what is my whp? What have other people gotten? I dont want to get bigger injectors fuel pumps and what now.. least not until my warranty is over( want to be able to do quick swap out). I know the intake wont do much, but will the turboback and tune get me to 265 whp? I want to at least make what subaru advertised at the crank to the wheel. If not what else can i do?

Buy a different car. You are looking at 40-60k in mods and questionable reliability.

You should be able to hit that with a tbe, intake, and tune. Even on pump gas (on almost all dynos anyway).

does catless or catted matter?
I know people say catless makes more power, is it a lot more?
