lol this cant be the official thread, theres already a couple that started years ago
HOWEVER, i love this stuff too. Works on any surface, not damaging to paint or finishes, looks good, cheap, and best of all... easily reversible! http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...=plastidip+ftw |

I did a search and nothing came up. That is why its the official. Why is there always someone who ruins all the fun? Can you let a couple people post their pics up before you kill the thread?

One does not contribute to an "official" thread when it has been rendered unofficial.

I found this video by dipyourcar.com. This video answers frequently asked questions and squashes many of the myths about plasti dip.

The dip makes it look so much more aggressive now instead of the chrome. Same goes for my wheels. They were gold. I thought they were cool until i plasti dipped them black. They make the car look a little more menacing.

I know it's not a subi, but I plastidipped my gf's MR2 matte white. Just my personal preference but I'm not a fan of yellow so I just had to.

From what I see online and my own experience, it's very durable. Fonzie from dipyourcar uses a pressure washer to wash plastidip and it holds up fine! My gf cleaned her car from the rain, dirt, bugs, etc and it comes off no problem. I have heard rumors though, that if grease or oil gets on white, it may stain. But I haven't seen any pics yet to prove it

I have plastidipped two new Impreza's. We did a matte dark orange for my mates 09 Diesel, and a matte camo green for my 08 NA. (Yes, I know - why not a turbo.. I live in Norway.. Nuff said)
Don't have a picture of the 08, but here's two of the diesel in matte orange. Turned out pretty swell. Can't you just order from Dipyourcar.com? |
