Fastest speed I obtained was in my dad's '91 Corvette ZR-1, 179mph...I'm stilled pi$$ed the speedo didn't hit 180! (digital gauges) BTW, no it's not totally stock.

Scariest speed obtained was in my '91 Camaro. Did 160mph, car felt like it was going to vibrate apart!

Most enjoyable speed: Any in my Lil' Blue Scooby!

My 98 Gixxer 750, 0-60 in about 2.8 and 1/4 mile in the low nine's depends on my mood and whether or not the guy in front of me in his "bitchin" camaro ,vette, or mustang. Whatever they are all idiots that try to be superheros and race me on my bike. They get smoked everytime and usually a ticket. By then I am 10 miles down the road.

Cool

My current car is the fastest I've ever driven with 506 rwhp/470 rwtq (roughly 600 hp at the crank on high boost).

Fastest I've ridden in is another modified single turbo Supra with about 700 crank hp and a hard shifting, hard launching automatic. It was very scary!

I like working at a Jaguar dealer. hehe

Jaguar xjr
Jaguar xkr

both r's roughly 400hp

The xk8 is pretty fast too, does real nice burn outs..30-40 ft downhill, shhh dont tell my boss.

Have riddin in 65 shelby cobra @ 120 mph with no windshield. You dont know what fast is untill you have no windshield. Hold the sunglasses on and DO NOT open your mouth at all.

How do you all get your hands on these exotics? Here are my highlights, if you can call them that...

98 M3, got it up to 110 in a 40 mph zone
92 3000GT VR4, 150 in and around San Francisco
91 Crapmaro with the LT1 package
540i One of the best handling cars I've driven
not really an exotic, but several mid 80s 944's...easiest car to drive fast I've ever been in

My last car was a 1969 Camaro with a 396 bored 60 over and massaged to provide about 600 HP street legal but handled like a drag car, didn't like corners. 125mph in a 1/4. Before that 79 corvette 127-130 mph down hill with the motor screaming 4.10 gears. Buddys 65 chevy step side long box with 383 stroker 125mph and very scarry for highschool. 1936 Cadillac coupe street rod with 500 Cubic inch caddi motor sweat looking and fast delivered it to a car classic car dealer who lives 120 miles away.

'96 Ducati 996 .. yellow of course
BMW M1 .. dunno what year .. it's pretty old though, and orange, drop top... i rode in it a few years ago but it needs some help to pass emissions so it just sits in the garage
also rode in my girlfriend's dad's championship white Lambo Countach ... uncomfortable car if i do say so myself and doesn't like uneven road much either ..

Ah, the M1. I love that car. Most weren't all that exceptionally fast. I rode in one, but had only about 330Hp or so, they said. Very fast, but not on the scale of others. I know some had some really impressive, powerful racing motors in them, though. One of BMW's finest moments(after the 3.0's or course!).

Neil

p.s. my fun moments in exotics came from my brother working at the local BMW shop for years in high school. They did a lot of special ordering of vehicles for the "elite" of my area, and often my brother would have to deliver the cars first thing in the morning, so he'd have to drive them home. Although some was experienced through a former owner of a dealership, who now stores restore/project cars for collectors. Would let my brother come in and look at them, and take us for rides in some(many hadn't seen their owners in years, so someone had to take care of them). Still yearn for that 1986 Lagonda...that would be a hip ride!

Three excellent cars come to mind, my last Civic 12.84QM on street tires, also road monster. A 700HP supra, I got to cruise on a trip, didn't get to push it really hard. A 10 Second CRX I got to take down the strip. And a 350hp 73 240Z on the street.

All very fast rides,
Ken
