why the actual f*$% is the Solo2 website so difficult to use?!
all i want to do i figure out when the next auto x practice is and sign up for it...that's all
so i see the event on the Solo2 front page event calendar, Nov 3 practice...but it does not tell me location, so i click anyway and that sends me to a motoreg page that does nothing, then i think maybe i need to click another link here and that all other SCCA event, but has zero info related to any Solo2 auto x event. Well, i go to the forum...and there i find a sticky that happens to list the location - great AAA Speedway...so i read some posts, another says you sign up on motoreg, but to bring a check because you can't pay online (the old way was to randomly mail a check and then just show up) - online at the same motoreg that has no info. So i read some posts and find info about events past, but nothing about the Nov 3-4 event seriously...why is this so hard - i just want to introduce a buddy to auto x with his S4, and have a good day of driving practice - is that so hard?!

Make an account on motoreg, and search the dates on there for el toro and AAA speedway, they also have the bmw club at qualcom.
Sign up the website and pay in person. |

I don't see what your findings so difficult about it. Go to http://solo2.motorsportreg.com select the event you want to register for, enter your information; name, car, class, number etc. Then bring cash to the event (they don't take online payments).
If you can't even manage to navigate the website, I don't know how you're going to be able to navigate the auto-x course. |

so apparently before i need to figure how to navigate a website and an auto x course, as you put it...you should maybe go back to school and brush up on your reading comprehension first Last edited by rubrduk; 10-17-2012 at 11:11 PM. |

Glad you figured it out. They don't open up registration for Saturday practice right away in order to give CSCC members priority signing up before it fills up, then later the open up registration to the general public.
I'll be there on Sunday, in a blue 04 wrx #264. |
