Extend the extended warranty?
Just bought a 2004 STi, that originally came with the Gold Plus Subaru Added Security. It expires on May 30th. The car is 100% stock, not abused, and not going to be abused whilst it's mine, so is there any way to extend the SAS?

Unless you transferred the extended warranty, it's not technically yours. You have to have the original owner (owner of the contract) sign it over to you and pay a processing fee.
However, you do have a 5/60 powertrain warranty that comes with the car, depending on the inservice date and mileage. Also, depending on where you purchased the car, you can buy your own extended warranty. SAS contract are only available thru subaru dealers, and if you bought the car used, you can only buy them when you buy the car. |
