From this thread, http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...light=protuner

Trey from Cobb posted this today:

We are working hard to DEVELOP the product before a release. In addition, the map format is different from our standard format so you'll need to have the maps loaded on your AccessPORT by the ProTUNER Beta user.

We're looking forward to a final release of the ProTUNER in the near future so everyone that wants access to it can do so. Until then, please keep in mind that you'll be serving in some respects as a guinea pig for the software. The tuners that have it now are not only top-notch but they were also picked because they've been using other solutions and we wanted our software picked apart to make it as good and solid as possible.

And as Jorge said, with ProTUNER any map can be made. We all should start getting into the mindset that the AccessPORT isn't strictly a COBB product. COBB has been the only ones offering maps that can be used on the AccessPORT but that's not going to be the case in the very near future. ProTUNERs are making their own maps and there will be places in the future where you can purchase an AccessPORT without ever using COBB maps, talking to COBB, debating on the finer points of if and how much I suck at tuning , how COBB employees have come over and kicked your dog, etc.

Best regards,
Trey
Digging a little, I didn't find anyone in the PNW saying they had the Beta version yet. I bet you won't have any trouble finding one when the full version is released.

Yeah, I posted in that thread, but got no reply. I know its in the Beta stages, which is why I was asking. I wanted to offer my car up for testing.

I like Trey's vision for the thing, for the AP, for the universality of it all... but considering what the AP's life has been like so far, I'm hesitant to jump into any of their new products. It will definitely be good to get some testing going, I just don't have another car, so if the Sube goes down, I go down too. I'll just have to watch for others' results. Keep us posted if you find one.

I will. Trey recently posted that he's not going to divulge exactly who has one and who doesn't. Some tuners got it, while some who are very good customers as well as having good reputations did not - but for no real reason. He's trying to prevent "favorites" as that was not his intention with the Beta release of ProTUNER.

Hopefully I'll find someone around here.

Hmm, that's where I ended up buying my AP from, they were pretty cool. Maybe I'll contact them. Come to think of it, they said they would be getting it soon....doh.
