Default Dom from MPS in Chicago!

Hello all - Manitou and I are trying to get people yo get tuned by Dominic @ Maxwell Power. What we've got so far is that 6 star in Chicago is willing to let us use their dyno, for a fee and fly in Dom to tune. He charges 1,000 a day plus travel expenses. If you are even looking for an open source protune this might be a great thing to do!

Pm me for more information

No they don't. Dewey is looking into renting one.

Layvon, Dewey has some cars that they need Dom to tune, so we should run this all through them.

Hey Dewey, can you chime in here?

Sounds like you guys have this under control lol. There is an AWD dyno being installed near our shop that is the first choice and I have access to another one if that falls through. What I need from you guys is to get in touch with me so we can get a solid number and start figuring out how much it's going to be to get Dom out here.

That's the rumor. It's going to be A Spec/Pro Function AND Strictly Modified AND us using it so I'm sure it's pretty much always going to be in use lol. Should be a good investment on Shawn's part.

Okay, so what i've got so far, is

Myself - Built Motor, PTE 6262, E85, Vipec
Manitou - Built Motor, Dom 2.5 XTR, 93 / E85 Cobb AP
h2oridr - Stage 2, Open source
krzywhtboi82 - 2.5i throttle body switch, to cable, open source
187mustang - VF34 on a 2.0 with STi TMIC and hopefully W255.
hoffmanEstates - retune from previous tune. Unknown parameters

I figured this would be the easiest way to keep track of everybody. I'm going to be pushing this **** out of this at the mathew marker cruise this weekend... 100s of subys up here right now.

I'll be posting in the GR thread also. If anyone else wants to bump their home town thread, lets get some people here to do it and make it worth Doms time!

Just thought I'd check. What you got down for me is the throttle body to cable switch. What I'm looking for is a tune for the dbw set the changes the mapping for it to get better throttle response. Is that the same as what your talking.

Oh okay, well if you know what has to be done, and dom knows how to tune it, then... it shouldn't be a problem. I'm not a tuner, and know nothing of that map..

Adding one more to the list.

I am the one who instigated this Dom tuning session as both Layvon and I need tunes for our new builds. Dom has tuned for 6 Star before so I contacted Dewey there to get the ball rolling. It is looking like mid October for us. I don't think Layvon or I will have the new motors broken in before then.

Do you need an up pipe for your car? I have a stock STI up pipe and a 1 yr old Grimm Speed up pipe that I would like to sell. LMK
