Default Can you do an ecu reset with the utec still plugged in?

Or will the reset also reset the UTEC maps as well?

I've reset using DD several times, and it only resets the ecu - but the battery stays connected the whole time. I can't see a reset having any affect on the UTEC, though - they send it to you with maps (and no power to it).

short of actually reflashing your utec with new firmware, maps are never lost.

The utec does not need battery power to hold on to its settings and maps.
