I was wondering why my name wasn't on the list so I checked paypal and it looks like it didn't go through. So, now, it should have been made.

hey guy - can some of you chime in on the X-brace option and if you're going to get it? I'd like to set some aside to cover those orders.

We just need 1 more for the last tier at $175. You'd be very hard pressed to find any replacement bushing/housing for that price.

I'm highly debating the Xbrace. Definitely a nice piece, just don't know if I can throw $400 at it.

X-Brace. Pull your struts out and re-grease them yourself for the time being.

The X-Brace is at a discount. The Feal suspension bit isn't. Take advantage of a good deal while it's still here.

Bang for the buck, definitely the Feal suspension and springs. That's the core of your suspension right there. X-brace is just that, a brace. It becomes more effective as you start replacing stock pieces. Much like a front strut bar.

Agreed....however, my point still stands. It also depends on what other upgrades are already done and ultimate plans for the car. Bang for your buck, sure, the Feal deal is going to provide a more noticable and performance oriented upgrade. The struts+springs or coilovers are the proverbial meat and potatoes of any suspension and everything else is just an accessory to to work in conjunction with it all to bring out the best possible outcome.

However, I still say go for the X-Brace but only b/c it's actually at a discount and a better deal financially speaking at this point.

and I for one would be perfectly happy entertaining that.

Hmmmmm.... I guess I could qualify and I get more discount the more housings I buy.... and I could sure use that subframe since the one for MY car was stolen for the race car.....

off to run some numbers... brb.

Can someone explain to me what this part does? Typically I figure that if I don't know what it improves I probably don't need it, but this seems REALLY popular. I don't want to miss out on a solid upgrade because of my own ignorance

simple explanation. it replaces the stock bushing on the rear of the front control arm.

you get our new FCAR bushing, BUT in a housing so you don't have to press out the old bushing from the stock mounts.

For the longer explanation I have a link up above over to the car part review area of the people who were the independent testers of the FCAR bushing.

Subaru just sent a recall notice regarding this part I think, the travsverse links?
Saying that they could rust and fail in areas that recieve lots of road salt.
