Unhappy Music: Is there an alternative to the alternative??

Since now is the time "Alternative" is mainstream. What's the new alternative???? What happened to the college music?? Growing up near Boston, I loved that music scene. What the hell happened to music????

Where are you getting your music now? There's actually a lot of good stuff floating around right now. You just need to know where to get it.

Triple J www.abc.net.au/triplej/default.htm

Indie 103 http://indie103.fm/main

ANd I second woxy.

All 3 stream on the net. Triple J is from Sydney, Australia, Indie 103 is a brand new Clear Channel (!) owned station in LA - don't know how long it's gonna last or not suck, and woxy is from somewhere in Ohio, I think.

I hear tons more good music on any those outlets than anywhere else, especially anywhere commercial...

Oh, and MTV2 from 2000 - 2001, if you have a time machine.
