Default When do I need new fuel rails?

Hi all,

I am planning to upgrade my injectors for my GC8 to STi 440s, but these injectors should work fine with the OE fuel rails right? Is it only custom sized injectors (RC 440s, BLITZ, HKS) that need new fuel rails because of dimension differences?

Fuel rails are always a good mod to add. I consider it a necessity once you plan to build a beast due to the fact that most of the time stock fuel rails are unable to provide the same amount of fuel to all cylinders.

First off, you've got a '93? I thought that the 93s had side feed injectors. WRX injectors are top feed. Also I thought that the STi injectors flow more than 500cc, I belive that the WRX ones are ~440 right? I could be wrong .

WRX injectors are less than 440CCs, STi 440 Injectors are side feed for the GC8s, STi 565/550CCs are top feed.

[wierd thing I found is that the ECLIPSE/TALON turbos have already been using 440CC stock and a dinky GT25 to spool... ]
