Yeah I know, I guess I can't complain though, better than no one replying to me.

So anyway, the dealer got back to me and this is what he broke down into.

Registration Fee: 48.50 (Isn't is $47?) - 2911lbs curb weight
Use Tax: 30.00 (ok confirmed by vision.dynamix)
Plate Fee 25.00 (ok confirmed by vision.dynamix)
Metro Comm Transport Fee: 50.00 (WTF???)
Title Certificate Fee: 50.00 (ok confirmed by vision.dynamix)
Out of State Temp 7.00 (ok, $7 fine, whatever)
Vendor Fee 75.00 (WTF???)
Total: $285.50 - I paid $294!

Does this look right to you guys?

I never heard of Metro Comm Transport Fee and Vendor Fee.

$100 sounds about right for a runner fee.
The Vendor fee is what they charged you to do the legwork.

Or..you know..you can ask them to explain the charges you dont understand.

Yeah I thought it was that too...but can they legally do that? Charge the remaining and claim it as "vendor fee"? I mean...they can charge whatever they want then right? Like if someone overpaid $300, they can just say it's our legwork charges. Can they legally do that? I mean...I already paid for the doc fee isn't that what's their legwork for?

I'm just ranting...don't mind me.

But yes I have emailed them back asking them what the hell are those charges for, if they do indeed respond saying it is legwork I will shoot back at them with their already charged $189 DOC FEE which is their legwork fee.

Damn crooks.

The Doc fee isnt for registering your ****ing car.

Yes, they can charge you for a service they provided. You know how much of a pain in the ass it is to register a ****ing car?

So let me get this straight.

You didnt read any of the paperwork you signed because the dealership was too nice and honest.
You bash them for being crooks because you dont understand the charges you agreed to paying.

The stupid is strong with this one.

Not that painful...it took me 15minutes in and out last time I registered my used vehicle.

So pretty much when they tell me, "if there's excess fee paid you will be refunded" is bs...

Then you shouldve registered your own ****ing car.

$75 is CHEAP for a runner fee.

If you look through all the paperwork you probably signed paperwork agreeing to the $75 runner fee.

Now you're complaining about $8.50 per Post 51. I've never seen someone complain, rant, and not understand so much over so little money. You bought a 2013 car. You may have gotten screwed over less than $10. Suck it up.

$75 is cheap for a runner fee, usually it's $100.
If it takes you 15 minutes to do, do it yourself.

A quick Google search yielded nothing to me for the Metro Comm Fee. I literally looked for 30 seconds, took longer to type this post. It's probably the delivery fee most dealers will charge. If so, it's a BS fee that you can usually get them to get rid of if you

READ WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING

By the way, my new favorite part of this thread is that a number of people have told you what happened. Given you suggestions on how to find the answer on your own. given you the answer. All of it stemming from you not reading what you signed. And the reason it's been said by a couple different people reiterating the same thing over and over again multiple times (yes, I know what I just typed), is because you haven't been reading it...

The metro commuter transportation fee is the NY usage fee. Loyale its roughly equivalent to the Excise tax we have in Mass.
