The general consensus is the stock intake is more than sufficient for our NA engine, and there are no benefits or gains to be seen from anything else.

Nothing wrong with that. A lot of manufacturers are in fact adding sound tubes to help direct induction noise to the cabin to give people a driving experience with more 'soul' or 'feel'. Personally, I think there's just as much value in making something enjoyable to drive with an intake (that gains no power) as there is in installing shifter bushings. Different strokes for different folks.

Have noticed a difference with the fuel. Went from an average of 23-24 MPG to 26-27 now since I installed the intake. Plus the rumble is awesome. As a single add on it wont do much but if you combine it with a good exhaust and a tune somewhere in the future I'm sure it will significantly help performance.

You're more than welcome to buy one and let us know.

If I can ever find a place that sells it and has a coupon, I may get one myself.

i find that hard to believe because there is zero restriction in the factory box. i don't see how it could possibly free up extra flow since the factory box can easily flow as much as our little 2.0 will intake. I posted the numbers a while back.

if anything your driving style, plus increasing temps have increased your mpg

Yes there are many variables. I'm just simply stating what I found when taking a 3,000 mile average on both intakes. I still believe there is restriction with the stock box. It has chambers. I have a K&N RX-4960 filter on the intake now. It has the non restrictive top. Love it. I guess my experiences with intakes differ from that of stock.

Well at 85% efficiency (that's all most engines are capable of) our factory airbox:

1. Flows the max our engine can pump. Seriously if the exact same intake design works on the turbo'd cars to 400whp.....
2. OAT = IAT

And I will give you 3..

3. Doesn't sound as cool as a cone filter w/o chambering.

Show me some dyno sheets proving there is a difference and I will believe you, otherwise warmer temps = better mpg hence why you see improvements.

My average mpg has increased by 3mpg too in the last month and I have the factory airbox......

It's cool that you like it, but there is no way I'm going to believe that intake has done anything for hp or mpg other than change the sound

I see your point man. I'm still in the testing phase with this thing so no hard facts yet but this is the intake thread and people on here are probably interested in updates with this thing and different opinions are shared. Eventually someone will post a dyno. We will agree to disagree for now. During the summer I'm planning on asking a friend at an auto shop to get me a readout with the stock intake on and another with this thing. I'll keep everyone posted.

Instructions are Army-Proof. So far it's worth it but def should not cost as much.
Broooooo where did you buy this from and how much? I need this, can you send me the link pretty please

We can beat that price. Not by too much, but let us know if you're interested in ordering. Currently 2 in stock in Polish and 2 in Black at our warehouse.

Just tear off your hood and zip tie the go pro somewhere, easy day...

Haha I'll adjust my flexible mount on there. The problem is lighting! I don't wanna drive around with my hood open. Very unsafe! So maybe I'll throw my little LED flashlight in there next to it.

It's not a Lexus, trust me, you'll hear it in the cabin.

Ya I meant from inside the cabin, under loaded conditions.

It sort of sounds like a bear vomiting in your open hood video...

As you wish. I went above and beyond on this one and threw the go pro on in the cabin, exterior windshield and bumper directly above the exhaust. Remember 1080p and turn that bass up. Enjoy.

Nice video. Good sound. It was like watching those Russian car cam videos on YouTube, I was just waiting for someone to do something stupid.
