Default Confused on how to disconnect throttle cable..

I'm in the middle of doing a shortblock swap, so i'm disconnecting things to pull the motor out. I'm @ the part in the service manual where it says to disconnect the "acclerator cable", though, i can't figure how do so. I did a search, and this was the best answer i got.

PUT A CLOTH or something in your intake manifold when done. Block it off from debris.
Can anyone be more specific, know where in the service manual it says how to disconnect the throttle cable, and/or have pictures?

Thanks for the help

The passenger side cable (cruise) is secured by a clip that you need to remove. IIRC, you pull the clip towards the front of the car and up. After the clip is removed, you should be able to push the cable up and out as you hold the full throttle position. The locking pin needs to be pushed towards driver side and up.

The driver side cable is removed the same but without the clip.
