It was on a dynapack. Pics and video later tonight. If it counts Hill could not figure out why it was making such good numbers. He just kept calling it a freak from the factory.

Here are two vids and the dyno sheet. They sheet is kind of hard to read due to me not having a scanner so I just took a pic. I will try to get Hill to post a digital copy of the sheet tomorrow.

You have no idea. I will post one of the vids from behind the car. It is just stupid loud.

Here is the video from the back of the car.

Those are great numbers for the HTA 68, i just made 330/300 uncorrected on a dynojet at TurboTrix tuned by Jr. I have similar mods except mine is ewg, has process west tmic, and bosch id1000's but with stock headers. I also only tuned to 18psi.

How awesome is the linear band, mine pulls peak power almost to redline! Enjoy!

I am just loving the curve. It is one of the most streetable turbos that I have been in/owned.

Hill took it up to 21psi. Maybe that little bit helped some.

Are you planning on taking your car to a strip anytime soon, it would be interesting to compare trap speeds.

I just did some searching on the web and it looks like 240-250 whp is a stock sti... Thats a high reading dyno, but none the less i am sure your car feels great!

No I don't have any plans to. I built it more for the street and autox.

I am doing a hybrid build:

EJ257 Short Block
EJ257 Crank Shaft
CP forged Pistons
STI Rods
ACL/Cosworth Bearings
780cc injectors

I was told that the 68HTA would drop off...guess not huh?

If you're worried about top end you probably want something with a 8cm^2 hotside?

I had similar worries but thought the HTA68 was cheap enough that it wouldn't hurt to try. The turbo just kept on pulling, with the introduction of an ewg with that build it should just keep on pulling. I think it wouldn't hurt if you are looking for a linear power band with instantaneous boost. Also the new blouch 18g xtr looks like a great turbo with a 8cm hotside.

Do you think and EWG is necessary with this turbo with a 2.0L to help the power from falling off?

For a 2.0L not at all... for the 2.5L it should be very beneficial helping it flow to the top running higher boost levels. I am very surprised/happy with the little HTA that can.

Maxwell Power will be installing my 68hta in a few weeks. Dom recommended a 10cm^2 hotside, so that's what it's going to get before the install. This thread makes me wonder about just keeping the 7cm, but, what the heck.
