Default Took me an hour to write a rom

has anybody run into this problem?

took me an hour to flash my stock 06 USDM STI ECU today
reading the rom took 2-3 minutes, as usual

also for some reason after I started the car the IAM was @ 0.5, even though I set it in the rom to be 1
