Default Transferring gas...

Alright, the threads Ive found on this topic all seem to turn straight into jokes.

I need to know how to transfer gas from the car into a gas can. Im doing it to save gas and still empty my tank for 104.

I bought a Transfer pump, but I cant get it to friggin work! I tried puttin the hose in the car and it goes in a ways till it stops. Tried pumping and nothing. Is there a friggin magical way to doing this or what?

Help would be greatly apprieciated and would save me a bit of money!

Pull the fuel pump or the plugs on the bottom of the tank.

you gotta pump it hard. actually, maybe have to suck some of the air bubbles out. Dale did this to get the pump started for me. however, i've used it several times now without any issues. also, hold the pump (if it is the same one I have) upright and make sure the gas can is BELOW the tank so the fuel is flowing DOWN into the can.

puling the fuel pump isn't too hard, if you've got a stubby screw driver you can do it without removing the rear seat
