Post Another CE light mystery

Anyone's help would be appreciated in solving this mystery. On Saturday, about 50 miles into a 60 mile drive, my 2400 mile, totally unmodified RS gave a CE light. My gas cap was on tight since I have not added gas in about one week. I understand that the CE light is associated with emissions and that the computer is probably obsessing on some event that lasted less than a millisecond. It just seems very early in it's lifespan for fault readings to be popping up. Any ideas?

FWIW: At 5,000 mi, driving at even keel on the highway, my CE light came on. The dealer said it had detected a "lazy" O2 sensor. (Meaning, according to the tech, that the ECU was getting expected readings from the rear sensor - post-cat - before the front sensor - pre-cat.) They swapped it on warrantee and I've had no further trouble. If the light's not flashing, it shouldn't be a huge deal. Just get it checked.

A line came of my charcol box, under the passanger side rear fender, on a long drive and that brought on the CE light. You may want to check that.
