-----------------------------------------Evo need's a driver mod.

Edit: apparently he is a subie guy, so ignore this^^, (not because he is a subie guy, but because it realy was his gf's car) guess the car just needs someone from the Evo forum, being "Forum Wars" and all, from his posts seems like a very nice reasonable guy that made the same mistake I probably would have. The opportunity might have convinced me that I was really "Helping" someone (RP in this case) and the fun factor might "encourage" me to think less about replacing myself, maybe make a decision that in retrospect wasn't so fair to the forum, sometimes hard to see that when faced with free track time and the chance to legally race a friend.

Yeah guys, Team SCS is going out to the desert for race wars, see you there. Better bring more than that crotch rocket.

But in all seriousness, the EVO X was my g/f's car. Jon wooped me fair and square, I did not drive the car as fast as I would've hoped. Not too much else to say.

I'll be competing in S2000 challenge at Pahrump. See you guys there whoever's going.

It was seriously changed everytime somebody ran it because they would knock cones, etc. Hence, the reason why I hit the cone haha but I don't even think that was my hot lap. The location was a small nascar ring and I guess they had to make do. Yes, my car is only making 313 whp I emailed them and they had it altered.

I dont think that comment was about your driving skills. It should be about the overall attitude on the video.

I also agree that the video didnt prove anything about STis or EVOs. One was modded the other was stock I love the tests done this way, its a fail from the getgo. The EVO forums are pissed because they didnt even get to chose a solid car against your world famous STi. And the fact that EVO driver was wearing a South coast subaru shirt makes it even funnier Hand picked pray for the STi didnt even own the car

Waow guys, this test is horrible in every aspect. Sorry, truth hurts.. take it like a man learn from the mistakes, you are still young.

a lot of people are watching it through marketing means of royal purple ! that makes it serious enough. But i did feel that sense of humour.

not good for us at all I dont know what else to tell you neither. Its too late now anyways..

ok since you don't really know the background info i'm going to fill you in. if this is a serious marketing effort for them then:

1. they wouldn't film the entire season in one day
2. instead of asking jon "hey dude you know any evos that want to run you? we were too lazy to find one" they would've actually gone on the evo forums and found someone, anyone, there's apparently a lot of guys that would've liked to do this with evos
3. the directors of the show asked us to act like ricers and talk a lot of smack
4. none of the match ups were fair. you had guys bringing fully caged race cars on hoosiers or r comps versus cars on street tires

i don't know who "us" is and why it's not good. as far as i'm concerned, they dug their own grave.

If that guy won a TA in the STi, he must have been the only one to enter. Neither drivers looked good, especially the evo.

Must be easy to talk trash when you're sitting in front of your computer a thousand miles away. I welcome you to come out to Spring Mountain in Pahrump, NV on 5/15-16 with SpeedVentures so you can show me how bad of a driver I am. You can't complain about the distance since it would be us meeting in the middle.
