haha thanks guys.... definitely had better results using the full 20ft boom... in the pic Jag shared, that was shot with only 15ft. cars were a lot more distorted... here is one we did later in the day, at another location, using the full 20ft. while it had more bounce, the perspective was much nicer IMO

Yep, you just need to photoshop out the rig boom afterwards. Not too tough if you've got the angle correct.

Of course, it gets tougher when you're eliminating reflections off various body panels, if that's an issue. I can see one on the fender of SkimSTI's blue hawkeye up there, but that's only because I was looking for it.
