I just installed the Perrin catback resonated system. It was kind of tough because my floor jack doesn't fit/reach under this car. It took me maybe an hour total with the rear up on ramps and the front on the ground. It's tight under there.. The darkness didn't help either, but it's done though. Sounds good. Quieter than I expected, but that's a good thing.

Updated first post with all my installed mods so far.

Ok, crappy cell phone pictures GO!

I spent my afternoon installing the rear shifter bushing and rear crossmember insert bushings. The shifter bushing is amazing! Everyone needs to install one. Shifts are so positive now. Crossmember bushings seem to make the crappy Primacy HPs squeal more

Flossy knobs are legit

I had a slight fitment issue with the Perrin system. It seemed to be attracted to the rear crossmember (knocking on it). Fixed that with a little trial and error. I still love the exhaust. It sounds so nice and looks good.

I ordered some WeatherTech floor mats and trunk liner. Pricey, but they look like the best winter option. Impressions to come.

I plan on changing the engine oil with Toyota 0w-20 (supposedly Mobil 1) and the tranny and diff with Motul 300 Gear soon. I'm at about 1200 miles.

The Blox shift knob is very similar in size to the stock knob. It's pretty comfortable. I may try a Delrin piston style at some point.

The WeatherTech mats fit great and feel very rugged. They cover quite a bit of the floor well. I think they were worth the money.

I love my weathertechs, but my one complaint is that they're slippery when wet.

Thanks

I was thinking of tinting the tail lights completely red. Any opinions?

Did anyone see this group buy for RAYS Gramslight 57DR - 17x9.0 +35mm 5x100 (Aggressive Face)? Fitment says "spring required." Are there non-lowering springs that will clear these wheels?

Wow, I got some work done today. Changed all my oils (Toyota Syn 0w-20 and Motul Gear 300) and installed the SS brake lines, TIC delrin steering rack bushings, and Kartboy tranny insert. Put the snows on since I was at it. I just finished so no impressions yet, other than the brake system is FIRM.

I'll get around to installing the eBay window visors, which look quality, soon. I'm also waiting on Nigel to send my armrest.

I missed your inquiry earlier about springs. The issue from what I've gathered is the tires/wheels will rub on the stock springs (or springs of similar size), but if you go with coilovers then there's enough clearance since coilovers are thinner.

I haven't ever seen a thin spring that isn't part of a coilover-type package. I've seen coilover springs within the confines of a lowering spring on an aftermarket strut (like KYB struts for my 08 Forester), but not just the springs themselves. I am curious...

Nigel is kinda slow. That armrest is super nice, though! Gotta get me that eventually since I cruise so often.

Which snows you runnin'?

^Exactly. Most coilover systems will run 60mm OD springs, which have a smaller OD than the stock springs, thus preventing rubbing on the spring perch.

The snow tires are Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT. They seem so much louder than the stock tires. They also have much less dry traction.

The steering rack bushing really change the feel of the car. It darts at the slightest input now. Pretty sweet. I'm nit sure what the tranny insert got me; everything feels the same. I did notice more NVH with all the **** I did today. I may put the stock wheel/tires back on for a better feel of today's mods.

PS - The last two pics were taken in a Burger King parking lot. Bright lights!

So the ebay window visors I bought are actually pretty crappy. I didn't do a very detailed inspection when I first got them. The passenger side visor has some deformities from the molding process. The provided hardware is cheap and the actual shape of the visors don't match the window contour very well. I tried installing them and was unhappy with the results. I think the Zeta or Toyota OEM ($$$) ones are probably worth the extra money.

Yeah I'm not a fan of window visors, but if I were to do it I would shoot for top quality molds. They ain't cheap, though, fo sho.

Installed the Toyota armrest a while ago. It really completes the interior. Winter is coming, mods are dwindling. I hope Santa brings me something nice.

It's been a while. I pulled the trigger on the Lathe Werks hybrid piston. It is absolutely perfect. Height, size, weight, not scalding hot when in the sun. Installed a shorty antenna and smoked side markers as well.

Placed an order for Saikou Michi catch cans. I went for the dual system, because why not.

I just bought the TRD intake, too. It should be here in a week or so. I was waiting for the GrimmSpeed intake, but it looks like the TRD has great throttle response and it's OEM.

Pics and reviews eventually...
