Question WRX Rearview Mirror with Dimming and Compass

I got kinda mad, and i punched my rearview mirror, and it came off. Then i threw it out the window, and the wires ripped out of the harness. The mirror is fine, but there is a piece, i think that covered the wires...i dont know how to put that piece back on.. can someone with a wrx post a pic of their mirror?

Thanks..

with that kind of temper, i don't think you should be driving a wrx. think about the damage you could do to it.

Besides that, the mirror is good. Is doesn't deserve that kind of savy treatment.

Also, I don't have a camera to take a pic of mine, sorry.

You got mad so you punched your rearview mirror, then threw it out the car, and the mirror is fine?

Sell your car and walk.

no pic from me.. but i have re-attach that piece like 5 times..
Ok from memory
1. the round part of the piece should be downwards.. so the fork end is on the top (towards the ceiling)
2. snap the circle part in first (toward the base of the mirror.
3. Slip the mirror wires inside that piece
4. then slide it clock or counter clock wise..
5. Oh if its too short just pull it up.. it fits snug underneath the roof mat

let me know if that helps..

Thanks dude

I kinda figured it out, but i need to know one other thing.

Which color wire goes into which slot of the harness?

Lets say, looking at it from where the wire goes in, and the clip at the bottom.

Peace

Mike
