Default Turbo scream

So i have an 06 wrx... When im on the gas and the rps get to like 4.5 rpms it starts to scream... I was watching a video on youtube the guy had the same problem and he compared it to a squirals nuts being clamped by a vice... So my question is what could it be? I was reading that a bad uppipe leake could cause it, i was also wondering if it could be the turbo inlet

Most likely yes because usually when that happens the bearings are toast, but not always...
