Have a Nice Day? Renick Subaru - Fullerton, CA

Just bought a '15 WRX from the guys at Irvine (Great Place). Experienced a slight engine shaking from time to time as well as a fluctuation in RPM. Corporate told me to take it to the dealer and I ended up taking it to Renick (Much closer to home). When I picked it up, the car was given back to me in a much dirtier state than I left it. I am very OCD about keeping my car as clean as possible so for a dealer to give "my lady" back to me in a dirtier condition was very unprofessional IMO. Also, gave it to them with a full tank and got it back with 1/4 of that missing.

I hate to be a pain in the ass about the whole dirty thing but my car is my pride and joy and I hate seeing her dirty : ( But if y'all insist on giving me **** about that then go ahead

I'd be less concerned about the dirty car and more concerned about the 1/4 tank of gas missing, although I don't understand why they didn't wash it considering most dealers do it anytime a car is brought in for service. I'll never go to Renick..ever. Also, there is a gas station right across the street..they couldn't go and replace what they used? WTF?

Yeah I was really upset about that. I mean, 1/4 tank of gas missing is excessive to say the least. What the dealer did not know at the time is that I was being directed by Corporate to take my car to them. So needless to say, I was able to get the situation "handled" through my representative at corporate. Those guys are great at Subaru America!

Their parts department is a joke. Broke a wheel stud on my fiancé's forester so we were going to go to Renick since they were a little closer to us than Irvine Subaru.

Website says there parts department opens at 8 on Saturday so we called 3 separate times between about 8:10 to 8:45 and even left a message to which we never got any phone call back.

Ended up calling irvine and got a hold of someone right away to make sure they had the part we needed in stock (which they did) so we went to them instead.

Still haven't heard back from Renick.

Wow. I'm sorry to hear about that. I don't think I can deal with them anymore! Still waiting on a sunshade I ordered through them about 3 months ago.

Default Renick Subaru - Fullerton, CA

Yeah it sounds like they don't have there **** together. I can't comment on the car buying side (although my aunt and uncle could and believe me it isn't favorable).

Sucks to here about the sunshade. I ordered mine through subarugenuineparts.com and got it within a week or so. I'd consider cancelling it if you can.

I also had a bad experience dealing with their internet "professional" named Charles kellam . Pompous man seemed to think that everyone out there whose buying a new car is made of money . To make a long story short I tried to make an offer on a 15 Impreza (of which I thought was a reasonable one) I got a snide remark instead of "anything is possible I suppose" not knowing what he meant I furthered on by asking if my price quote is good but mr pro instead went ahead with some condescending comments about being realistic . I really wouldn't have mind if he made any suggestions on what his price would be but In any case, it's water under the bridge now. I hope the arrogance of mr kellam isn't the whole representation of what Renick is all about ...but reading this thread I guess nothing is further from the truth.
