Alonso qualfied 8th and Massa 5th...with Ferrari pull the same trick as they did in Austin and "break" Massa's gearbox to put Alonso back on the clean line? Webber is in 2nd as well, so RBR could pull the same trick and put him...dum dum DUM!...right in front of Alonso. The latter is unlikely, however, since Webber will probably get smoked at the start (as usual) and then will have a KERS failure later on.

Prediction: Webber is ahead of Vettel at the start, and since he "doesn't move over for anybody", the team calls him into the pits on lap 3 in an unusual strategy.

BRING ON THE RAIN!

his interview at the german tv, itīs not a pure rain setup (like Schumacher), more a compromise

btw, Vettel starts as 4th, Massa as 5th, maybe someone brakes too late into the first corner after the race start....

I thought the exact same thing, although it takes a brave team boss to tell your driver to do that. And massive cahoonas to actually do it

I was very happy to see Hamilton on pole

I know Massa is good at taking team orders, I just can't see him doing that at his home Grand Prix.

Me neither. It would make a mockery of the whole championship system. "Oh, you're 13 points ahead of me? it sure would be a shame if my teammate accidentally crashed into you!"

easy for Ferrari

Massa, drive into Vettels car, and we allow you to race for the championship in 2013, no more driver No 2

Pastor has received a penalty, which would move everyone behind him one spot and places Alonso behind Vettel.

Go Kimi

I can't see it happening to be honest, was just my first thought when I saw where they qualified.

Anybody else think Hamilton is starting to regret his decision to leave McLaren?

Pastor Maldonado has been handed a ten-place grid penalty after receiving his third reprimand of the season at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Midway through the second part of qualifying, Maldonado missed a call in to the weighbridge from the FIA which was marked by a red light and an official in the pit lane. Maldonado went on to make it through to the final part of qualifying and originally qualified sixth before being called to see the stewards.

Maldonado was handed a reprimand for the incident, which was his third of the season and results in an automatic ten-place grid penalty. The punishment relegates Maldonado to 16th on the grid, most significantly promoting Fernando Alonso to seventh place; three behind his championship rival Sebastian Vettel.

Nico Hulkenberg will now start sixth ahead of Alonso, with Kimi Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg and Paul di Resta rounding out the top ten grid positions.
OK, so now's the time to break Massa's gearbox so Fern can move up yet another spot.

And kev, yeah, I think Lewis is feeling a bit regretful about his decision. The Mclaren is FAST!

maybe for the first 30 seconds, than came 100000000 Euros (130000000 Dollarbucks) in his mind, and the world becomes a better place

If it rains, This race will be amazing! We all know what Alonso did when it rained in the beginning of the year. But who has a better rain set-up? Who will pit first for rain tires? Will they go to straight wets or op. of interns? So many variables happening today!
