Cobb AP & TGV Delete tune help!
Car is a 2004 Subaru WRX, Stage II OTS 93 Oct map. Full CATless exhaust and has been on that map over two years.
So last summer I started getting the TGV errors, they disappeared over the winter. Well now this summer I have about all the ones possible, TGV malfunction, right and left stuck open, TGV sensor circuit overpowered, etc etc. I am a machinist and have a full machine shop I work at so I am looking to do a quick TGV delete, powder coat the intake manifold and the TGV's and be done with it. It is the tune that I need help with. I heard there is a way to tweak the map via the Cobb AP race tuner software available, however I can't find much of a write up on the forums. Can anyone provide a step by step process on how that's done? I don't know much with turning, I don't want to get into it and find I need to learn C++ or some type of more advanced Arduino type programming to fix this. Just need to be able to hide those codes so I can get it out of limp mode and clear the check engine light, I hear the codes stay active on the RAM but not to trigger any issues if the tune is done right. Thanks!! |

you can disable them from coming on easily in the map on ATR. I dont THINK you need a retune for that, but do some checking before you take my word for it.
It is at the very bottom in like ETC codes or something like that |
