How is your pump wired? Like I said in our PM, you need to run bigger wire to the pump and bypass the FPC. With E85 your 7670 will be able to pretty much max the big wally and the 1300's at 600+ish DJ#'s but you'll need the big wire. I ran 10 gauge to mine.

I'm going to install a hardwire kit this weekend but I wanted to keep the FPC. I'm not running E but I was interested in how far he got without re-wiring the pump. I'm running the DW300 pump btw.

Decided to try out EFR BOV and I am very impressed with it! When I shift gears I instantly have boost already there!
That is because Tial blows all the air from the pipes and I have to wait till turbo compresses more air ones again, and EFR BOV blows the air out that is next to blades to not cause boost surge while maintain some pressure in charge pipes. And also it sounds very quiet, which I like. Does anyone have any ideas how I can plug or disable the Tial BOV? |

I think Grimmspeed makes one. Bout time you tried the integrated BOV, works pretty darn well.

i'm on 92 at the moment, waiting for 1300cc injectors. Will tune pump gas map first up to 20 psi and then will start adding e85 by 10% and tuning comp tables.

No E? I feel sorry for you guys! Either way it looks to be good response so I'd say it's all working well for an EFR |

Please let me know how it goes with block off plate,
Its funny how I used to have cool EWG and cool TIAL BOV, and now going back to something that is actually less show and more functional. Last edited by Bariga; 04-25-2014 at 01:46 PM. |

I'll be getting turbosmart EFR bov I noticed stock EFR spring little weak, I also noticed that it blows the air on to compressor blades "that makes so much more sense , I always thought it just dumps it into intake

You know I upgraded my TIAL Q spring to the brown -12 spring (new in 2012) the stiffest spring they make. My BOV only opens when it needs to now and I noticed way better boost response and drive-ability right away. The point I'm making is I think our cars need pretty stiff springs in the Tial type valves. You sure can't go by their rating chart, not even close. I talked to a tech there last year and he said they always recommend the stiffest spring for Subies.

Yeah, I'd use the integrated one as well since it sounds like it works well. One less think under the hood!
