You can even build them on Ford.com... track pack not on there yet but will be available - separate oil/tranny/diff coolers etc.

ford has been improving i give them that, but for that kind of power i would rather have a car with much lower center of gravity, dont know if i would spend that much on a mustang even with enough power to get me to the moon and back

Heh. If you'd have told me 10 years ago that I'd dump 33K on a Subaru, I'd have broke a rib laughing.

You'll never find one at a stealership for that price.

That's pretty high unless your dealer is willing to accept less through some bargaining.

Track pack is 3K - so about 69K for a loaded coupe.

Lots of people are ordering at MSRP already. Ford has already stated that they will build as many as they can sell, this is not a limited production car. There will however be those dealerships that try and charge adm's but those dealers wont be selling many GT500's.

To be honest, I was scared of it. If I wiped it out, I lose my job.

You cant get the track pack without the svtpp, this will bring the price up to $63k. Still a great price for the amount of car you get.

Sure, but now we're comparing used cars to new cars which is a bit disingenious at best. Hell, let's muddy the waters even more and start throwing modifications in the mix!

No, but seriously, I think for $55k, I'd rather have a new 'vette GS. I'm not a big fan of the ZL1 or the GT500 - too much money for a pony car.

Well he was comparing used ZO6s/Vipers to a 2008 GT500 (used) so it's a valid comparison. An LS7 ZO6 or a 2nd gen GTS will outperform a 2007-2009 GT500 stock for stock.
