Looks like Hyundai was a bit jealous of sister Kia Optima's looks, and wanted a version for themselves.

The back and side views remind me of the more bland looking Hyundais of the past, like the old Sonata and the old XG350

This car is the best selling car in KDM right now.

so where does this fit with respect to the genesis sedan?
This will be FWD right? Priced below the genesis? DI engine?

That is traditionally where Azera is...
FWD large-mid-size, just under the Genesis RWD sedan, but a bit above Sonata. it will probably get the 3800RS engine, probably with Genesis Sedan's DFI config for 333hp, if it isn't slightly detuned for FWD. Even without DFI, the engine makes over 300hp in the GenCoupe. |

Looks nice! I'm not a big fan of the new Elantra, but I do really like the Sonata and Genesis sedan. Optima is a head-turner as well.

Hyundai continues to win with styling at least.
Nissan should take cues.....their cars keep getting more and more ugly. |

Traction and stability control. And probably torque-limiting engine controls in lower gear ratios.

I like how they integrate the exhaust tips into the rear bumper.

This car might be the best execution of Hyundai's new design language to date. It actually looks quite beautiful. I'm sure it's packed up with luxury features too. This would make a nice family sedan.

The Genesis is the most comfortable sedan I've been in - and that includes RS4s and CTSes. |
