Yeehaw for Cadillac Cue system. Interfaces with iPad 3. End result is that I get a free iiPad 3 to demonstrate this. Might have to give it up when I get promoted but it is mine for now.

Well it took a few hours and a new starter, but the car is ok. I pumped and blew out a lot of water out of everywhere. The intake is the K&N typhoon cold air & draws air (& water) from in front of passenger side front tire.

Maybe he just likes cars. Not having one doesn't mean you can't be around them and enjoy yourself. That is the blissful existence of an enthusiast . No need to argue endlessly about camber , the accuracy of speedometers, ad nauseam.

If I'm not driving one do you mean? Because I drive my car there.

It's a nice group of enthusiasts and I know some personally. Other than that I enjoy taking pictures & videos of cars, plus it pays a couple bills a month by doing so. Why not go check out some cars every other weekend and get paid to do it? I'm sure you would.

Not at all.

But i dig the legacy wheels. Always did. Almost put them on mine several times.

Good luck selling it. I'm sure it's a solid car. I loved your GTO from what I saw.

Yeah, the GTO is a very fun car. It's going to remain my summer DD and longhaul road trip car. Both the Saabaru and WRX offset it nicely, being the winter DD/cargo hauler. The WRX will be able to replace the GTO at AutoX also.

Wow, this comment is even beyond my level of dickishness. I think Cars and Coffee is gay as balls, the drives they go on are relatively lame, and they just mostly stand around in a parking lot jerking off to each others cars. But still, to jump to conclusions about the psyche of someone attending? Gatdam. That is surprising coming from someone whom I consider to be somewhat level-headed.

That background is cool but yeah, it's a little grainy. I think you needed to take 2 or 3 different images with varying levels of exposure and then combined them into one. Otherwise, 30% of the image is just jet black with nothing to see.

They're in the House Party movies if that's what you're thinking of.

of course I was smug and smiling. I had just consumed a tasty Sam Adams Summer Ale and was about to drink the official beer of Fast and Furious, courtesy of GTR Joe.

Are you the dealer's "Technology Expert"? Seemed like a great idea when I heard about it at the last GM meeting.

Most dealers just need car experts, holy ****.

When I went shopping for the car that eventually became my accent, I went to about 6 dealerships looking at cars, and none of the idiots even knew their wares. It was embarrassing the level of apathy these people had towards their products. They were more concerned with selling people on stuff then knowing the product. It's pretty sad when the buyer knows more about the product then the seller after spending 20 minutes on the internet researching it.

okay, rant over

x2

Next car rant:
What's the deal with an Internet Sales Manager saying "call me because I have found that its faster than exchanging emails back and forth"? Don't you think I would have called if that was the way that I (you know...the customer with the money they want to spend) wanted to do business via phone. No...I find it easier for me to do via email and have had great experiences doing it that way for the last 3 cars I bought. Same old clueless guys out there with a title/job that they are sucking at.

the hot chicks in the black long sleeve/long pants the cadillac booth knew goddamned everything. they even knew what each car weighed and the difference in suspension setups from car to car, and the packages that came with LSD, and what type of LSD. pretty impressive for any salesman. i got told while shopping for diesel golf they didn't make them, and also that ACR neons aren't for sale to the public. FWIW the ATS looks really sweet, ~30k with the turbo 2.0 and lsd.

Yeah I am but we all got them. There are only four of us, the store got four so we all got one.

Same old redundant car sales rants I see. Yay. FYI folks, while I "know" everything about these caddies less than 5% of customers I see care much about anything other than option packages and the basics like horse power and fuel economy. Knowing the type of diff and final drive ratio is almost useless info while knowing the packages, rebates current finance offerings and so on are must knows. That said as a matter of pride and professionalism it is still a priority to know what the hey you are talking about.

That's nothing, you should see the total boob I bought my last 2 cars from... not to mention the parts department.

Vern, you shouldn't have any concern with the salespeople rants, because you guys (Adam, etc) are the exception, not the rule. I would actually think you would be embracing the fact that there are people who appreciate a well-informed salesperson.

Think of it in terms of what I do, which, in the end, is basically selling bandwidth. A large majority of our customers couldn't tell the difference between a b and a B, does that mean that when I hire my support staff, they should't know that information?

Answer that ?

I did not take offense. My response was more of a " oh, the wrx vs sti thing again, Yay" type of thing.

The nasioc ipad app is better than the android version in my opinion.
