Default What headers will make an EJ20 sound like a WRX?

What headers will make a Legacy EJ20 with a custom turbo sound like a WRX?

I love the boxer sound of my WRX, and I'm looking to get the same sound out of my GL wagon.

Wont a wrx header fit on that? Or are there issues with the crossmember?

Because I am currectly using an NA manifold for my turbo setup, and I will probably continue to use an NA manifold because I can't change the crossmember for one that will clear an up-pipe.

So, any NA headers out there that will give a nice boxer sound?

Borla header gives NA EJ engines the turbo boxer sound. I dont think that will fit on your GL though. What block is in there anyhow?

Interesting I didnt know the GL wagons had EJ blocks. Did you swap this in?

Anyhow, since you have an EJ block the Borla header will work and will give you that badass boxer sound you desire. Since its turbo make sure you wrap and or coat the header to keep the exhaust gasses hot to ensure good spool-up.

your crossmember is for the 'headers behind the oil pan' (borla)style right? i have the headers from a GL-10 sittin around and they are 'in front of the pan' style i believe.
