Default Tein SS dampening setting

I was curious about the dampening setting on the Tein SS's vs the Tein Basic's default setting. I was going to purchase coilovers soon and am going to use this for street use only ( no more track for me ). How would Basic's compare to the dampening setting on the tein SS? example softest setting on SS is exactly like the basics. any info on this would be helpful, price is an issue, but comfort is worth the extra money.

The basic's have no adjustments...
The spring rates are exactly the same so keep that in mind. If you are street driving this thing then why do you want coilovers? Ive always liked the SS ride on a wrx; they are quite soft and great for a DD/weekend warrior settup IMO. I dont have any experience with the Basics, but I doubt anyone on here has owned both settups and can give you such an example.

Consider this, the SS are basically the Basic's with the damping/rebound adjustment on it. That is what you pay for really. They have optional camber plates, but you can add those to the Basics if you want anyway. My GUESS would be that the Basic's are set somewhere on the soft-midsoft side and thats just how the struts are.

Tein SS are so nice in the street. I have them on my 04 sedan and love it. Having the settings are a plus. The ride can be smooth and quite when traveling far trips.
