if you took your car where he dyno'd you would make over 400whp vs his 320 whp if he wants to measure penis' we need to use the same stick it just irks me when people say things like that like "na na boo boo i made almost as much power as you with a smaller turbo" but in reality they have no clue what they're talking about. if he wants to look back at the first or second page my dynosheet is in there for 375whp on a vf34 on 91 octane on a 2L.......i mean the car only trapped 105mph.....but i had a pretty dyno sheet.

the first 60 is all that matters baby! thats why im coming out dropping at 6k all night....haha. Ive found the sweet spot launching my car on the street right at like 4500, and my AP has me going 11.4-11.6's so we will see how accurate that is.

I did track it and trap'd - 111-116. 12.4-12.7 between 10 or so passes. Clutch is done. Either way i would love to hear this car in action. Nice to see someone put a big turbo on a stock 2.0 with high miles. Impressed. Post some VIDSS!! Last edited by ramair18954; 05-14-2010 at 06:59 AM. |

I would hope that Jake is faster than that. 111-117 is VF series traps at Atco. We'll see Tuesday...

AirBoy relies on user input, tire height, weight etc.. I'm sure no one goes to the weigh station and brakes out a ruler to get actual values. Being off 1" or 50lbs makes a difference in the outcome. It irks me when people say " this car will make that on airboy " Most like you mentioned have no clue.. I doubt Jake's 3076 would make 400whp on a dynojet. Maybe 370-380, especially with the stock motor and pumpgas. I also doubt that Jake would "walk" rams car.. Pretty sure he has gone 11s @ 116-117mph. Im sure you know a Peak number doesn't mean much. A nice power band will always win. Jr |

Well I guess I'm proven wrong again.
Jake you should pull that 30r off and upgrade to an 18g. You'll only have 15 hp less and a better powerband. |

^are you being sarcastic? dont you think that would be the case on pump gas?...of course with good gas/meth the 30r would shine

Sorry for the thread hijack, but i could not break 11's this time. 2.0 60's with a slipping clutch. Last edited by ramair18954; 05-14-2010 at 08:11 PM. Reason: added times |

car weighs 3310 with me in it (240) and very little gas. plus 100lbs for sub box and amp.
the last 340whp pull had 3/4 tank of 93 octane , sub box and me in it. so...3310+100+11gallons at 7lbs. a gallon for fuel is what? 3310+100+77=3487? i can weigh the car before a pull no problem. i will be removing the sub box for drag racing. i have stock 08 wrx wheels which are 205 50 17. 25-26 inch tall wheel. oh snap i just realized the 6 speed weighs more than the 5 speed. i need to re weigh! i'll do that tomorrow so we post a proper current airboy. i got my wideband in but am seeing different values between the gauge and rom raider... 14.0 on gauge @ idle and 15.0 on logger @ idle? what gives? wot is 10.8-11.1 in third on the gauge. i believe that everything is grounded properly. the logger is fed by the headphone jack to female serial to male serial to usb. |

i've been practicing lauching but am either boggin or burnin. if i don't figure it out soon i'll probally just roll into a 2.0 60ft.
i stab the gas to 5k. as i push the gas in i dump the clutch about 3/4's out then full throttle clutch all the way out. i believe have not been dumping the clutch enough to hook up and not burn the clutch up. i guess i should have more confidence in the 6 speed. i have an act stage one organic clutch with streetlight flywheel on my 04 six speed. |

Very Ironic, Most of these south Jers cars are tuned on a flat, str8 road that happens to have a weight station that has closed down but still has a functioning scale in the parking lot. Its almost too good to be true, I couldnt believe it myself. The scale was 8 lbs off from E-town, and that was probably just a big dinner Jakes car would make 380-385whp on a dynojet. Its good for 115-116 on pump, but is almost impossible to get out the hole from what he has told me and from what i have seen him do at the track. 2.8 60ft's dont yield stellar times Last edited by STi Mikey; 05-14-2010 at 10:04 PM. |

You need to literally pump the throttle between 6500-7500 rpm, slip and dump the clutch + pray nothing snaps. If you want real practice, get to the track! |
