Love the blue lights in the headlight! The dark gray/blue light theme you have going through the car looks sharp! Rally Armors, Footwell lighting, it all looks great!

How functional are the LED fogs and high beams?

high beams and fogs are non existent at night. Thank god my HIDs are bright!
not having a whole lot of brightness from my fogs and high beams at night just goes with the rest of my theme: "all show and no go!" haha

THANKS! its a work in progress. it keeps me busy in my free time. my next endeavor may be to paint the caliper covers blue. i saw in another forum where someone painted theirs red and bought subaru decals. it looked pretty sweet. i just am not sure how i would get them off the car to paint them now.

It was actually a lot of fun! i had planned to do the install like the video on diodedynamics.com. If you watch that video, they rip apart the dash in the car! that was a little to intimidating for me. i decided that i would install mine under the dash above the drivers footwell. (theres TONS of room up there!) i bought a $3 fuse tapper kit and went right into the fuse for the cigarette lighter. also there is a bolt that holds the hood latch right next to the fuse box that works perfectly as ground. after that, it was all plug and play. I got a little fancy and hardwired a switch into the dash. that involved drilling a 3/4" hole in my dash in a blank spot next to my traction control switch. that was the most nerve wracking part of the install. Im really happy with the kit though. if you only do the front seats its <30 minute install and around $40! You cant go wrong!

ya i worried about that at first. i have a few cop friends here in PA that told me that i could be fined for it. good news is that its really subtle during the day. however, i like to drive around at twilight and early evening with only the DRLs on. That makes for a HUGE space between the Blue lights and my LED DRLs. that is when im most at risk. also i have removed the bulbs behind the orage side reflectors in the headlights. i believe that is illegal too? so far (knock on wood) its been over a year and no problems. its not distracting enough for them to see it and care i think. now ive probably jinxed myself

How is the glare from the HIDs in your head lamps? I installed yellow HIDs in my fog lamps and the glare is pretty bad. Thinking of taking them out and putting the stock bulbs back in and going with yellow overlays.

I have 6000k HID's in my lows, Nokya yellows in my highs, and yellow LED's in my fogs and so far so good. Driven past cops, and a state trooper was behind, then in front of me tonight and never did a thing. White LED's in the eyelids and plate bulbs and reverse lights as well. All good.

Warning stock pics below.

The wife and I picked up our Venetian red '13 Sport Premium yesterday.

Sport grill
Auto dimming mirror
Cargo protector

Dealer to install:
rear spoiler
aero splash guards
rear seat protector
console media tray
and some things I'm surely forgetting at 6am.

No huge plans for it. Getting the aero rack and snowboard attachment at some point, throwing a tint on it and upgrading the stereo and installing the rear view camera when I have a free weekend.

Stoked about the car so far.

Yeah, I got rear ended while parked so when I took it in to get it repaired I asked them to paint the dins because after seeing the vinyl wrapped GP that was at Sema 2011, I've been wanting to get it done. Here is the GP that inspired me to paint it; this one looks a bit cleaner since it's wrapped and the texture is more cohesive, but as I stated I couldn't be happier with it.

It looks good, they look out of place in the lighter cars, but on black or dgm (like I have) I'm not sure I would do it.

Yeah, if I had either of those colors or the two-toned black I wouldn't have considered it. But as you said, the black dins do look a bit out of place on the lighters colors (except white and silver, or if you added more black accents such as wheels or the STi lip).

wouldn't look good painted on the red, the black contrast goes well with the tints, roof rails on my sport etc.

To the new venetian red, welcome to the club, I see we have the same car and you are aiming for my mods list, I will pm you some stuff of how mine came out.

I don't know man, looks pretty good to me in Venetian Red. I know they have a different bumper, but having a bumper all one color, to me, looks like how it should have been.

Im not really electrical savvy so this is gonna need alot of researching. lol
Does this kit change colors? Doesnt it come with a remote? Why did you add a switch?
