Default p0335 After timing belt install

2006 legacy gt
98,000
Just installed new single mass flywheel from and 08 wrx while i was in there figured id also get the timing belt/water pump outta the way... install went smooth, lined all the marks up(upper cams at 12 o'clock lower cams at 3 o'clock lined up with the slots in the cover. the double hash facing each other 6,12) crank gear's hash lined up with the cps gear and the mark on the block.... cranks fine just wont start and throws a p0335 (crank position senser circuit A) changed the sensor double checked all my marks, it still has me stumped
any ideas? anyone have similar problems?

Grounds are good, air gap seems good, crank gear/sprocket Is sitting correctly.

Make sure your crank gear isn't missing any of its teeth.

Make sure the sensor is clean and the crank pulley is seated back against the block all the way. You can remove the crank sensor, clean it up, and spray some contact cleaner spray into the electrical connectors. Let it dry, put it back in and try again.

Found the problem. The cps wire returing to the ecu backed outra the connector under the intercooler. Thanks for the help guys!
