Default Electric throttle pedal problem

Lately when I'm shifting my RPMs are rising instead of falling when I put in the clutch. If I get my foot under the gas pedal and pull up a little it will stop. So it would seem that it's sticking a little the last few cm of it's travel. I was thinking maybe bending the spring perch to increase tension? Of a lube of some type but since the electric control modual is part of the pedal I'm not to keen on lube. Any ideas?

if your pedal is sticking i'd check to make sure its not getting stuck on the floor mat or any debris in the footwell. Other wise get your head down there and actuate the pedal, see where it binds and lube from there. I doubt the servo motor is sticking so it should be the mechanical side of it.

I have an 06 and the idle stays high between shifts also. Onlyfor a few extra seconds. Feels strange when driving. Thought maybe it was to assist in keeping boost pressure up

The DBW vehicles delay the closing of the throttle plate when you release the pedal, the thought is it's to help burn off the extra fuel before closing it completely, but AFAIK nobody really knows.

OP - is your car DBW or DBC? Does this happen at partial throttle (normal driving), WOT, or both? How long does the RPM stay high? The issue I mentioned above only lasts a second or so and the RPM only rises by a couple hundred, if that. It also only does it when releasing from partial throttle, not WOT.
