Hated the racelands I put on my GC. Made annoying thumping noises over every bump, big or small. Hopefully they work out better for you.

Bought and installed two kenwood 12s. So stoked, much better than the solobaric 8. But now i have very limited trunk space, totally worth it

Sure did. Thats what happens when your on a tight budget. Plus I have been reading some really good reviews. Figured why not. Who the **** cares anyways? Not everyone can afford to buy the best. Especially ones who buy they own new cars. Had mommy and daddy helped, I would be on KW's. It will be bagged next summer anyways. So it really doesn't even matter.

On another note, coils are now installed. They feel great so far. Need alignment stat.

lol.

Most people who buy news cars don't have any money. But that's a topic for a different thread...

Good luck with the new ride.

P.S. On topic... My wife washed her WRX yesterday and I'm hoping to swap back to the summer tires in a week or two.

Generally buying a NEW car means you don't have any money, or limited. Financing really helps out in getting behind the wheel of something you want without paying all of it up front with a private seller.

Hell, I would have loved to hand someone $7,000 for the '01 RS I bought recently, but not in the cards, so I'm going to end up paying almost $12,000 for it.

If you're on a tight budget, then why not just get springs??

I thought about going springs but i wanted the extra clearance for the wheels I have. Aaaand because I didn't want to deal with taking them apart. Lol . An easy in and out was all I was lookin for.

Wheels/coils installed and waiting for a roll! I think I got enough tax money left over to get some rear camber plates.
