Default 02 wrx crank no start

So here goes, I have recently had my engine rebuilt(long block only) for my '02 wrx factory EJ205(which has been down for 6 months), searched all over the forums to see what I may or may not have done wrong.

Got the engine back and checked the timing, all matching up I tightened the cam gear bolts down to spec and one spun, so I re-did the timing myself. put the engine back together and plugged in the wiring harness. After all said and done I put the engine back in the car, connected everything that was removed and replaced the battery that died.

Attempted to start it after a week of installation and double checking everything.
All cables connected and engine grounds connected, even removed the intake and checked it all again. The car will crank forever but ignition will not happen,

pulled the #3 coil and put an old plug in and no sign of spark.
replaced the crank and cam sensors,
checked the ecu for damage(new ecu),
new walbro FP,
new plugs,
new oil pump,
new turbo(upgraded).

everything is connected the right way and installed to specs, have been racking my brain and checking everything under the sun to find and answer and no one on here has had the same issue as me. So if anyone on here has any idea or suggestion as to what I may have overlooked or neglected please let me know.

just curious as I seen on one post that a member stated all 4 coils failed after sitting for too long. is this possible?
