Unhappy Fighting with weapon R intake

Just got a weapon r intake and after reading the instructions and taking out my stock setup, I realized that I can't seem to fing the MAS. Not sure if my car had one to begin with. I've got a 99 OBS (2.2L). Anyone know if they stopped using them on the later 99 models? Please help me, I can hear my car crying for the snowy roads and I can't drive it til I get this resolved.

Look at your stock intake pipe. Do you see a sensor at towards the front end of the snorkel. It will have a harness attached to it. If you don't see that then you have a MAP sensor on your throttle body and therefore don't have to worry about the same problems as the MAF. Its not really that hard to pick out. If you don't understand, take your car to a mechanic and ask if your intake is equipped with a Mass Air Flow sensor. He should be able to point it out for you and your dillema will be over. MAF's are usually in the same place on all vehicles, ie, in the beginning of the intake snorkel.
