I wont make it this time either, I am starting bodywork finally, so much hail damage it will be spotted primer for a few months before it gets painted. yesterday I had the turbo off to replace the oil return hose and the water temp sensor. The water temp sensor cutting in and out was preventing my ecm from tuning itself causing it to run so rich I saw fireballs shoot out at night. AFR's around 10.5:1 would smother the spark. Sounded cool when I shifted but it wasn't fun to drive.
I love that red dot! when you go out to shoot it let me know. I picked up a sweet steel target that should be able to handle some abuse.

If you need an extra set of hands with the car, let me know. I'm available after 5 almost every day save Monday. Plus, I just got my military drill done this past weekend and that won't be back for a month.

Thanks for offering, I am now doing bodywork and wouldn't subject anyone to block sanding. It was in a hell of a hailstorm so its has lots of small dings. I'll attempt to paint it myself next spring.

You know what all the Subaru forms need... Custom stickers, for example nasioc would be...

* nasioc

Then we sorta (at a stop light with a Subaru buddy in front can tell if they are a member or not) excuse the * centering only...

Spotted a blue wagon I think it was Tuesday kind of by downtown. Looked like you had a front mount. I was in a dark grey WRX (low) you could get trough the dip a little faster than me hahaha.

I saw another white 1st gen legacy turbo wagon in town, think it was the one I saw for sale about 6 months ago. It had new rims on it and the driver wasn't older either. My car hardly looks like anything and most other subies don't notice till they hear the exhaust tone. So if you see a partially primered 93 legacy that sounds nasty, wave. I wave at wrxs but never get waves back. Too stealthy for street cred I guess, spoiler may go back on next summer.

Id also love to meet some new faces as Ive seen a lot of new Subaru drivers since Ive been back. Hopefully Ill see you there!

So, burned up a set of brembo brakes in 22.5k miles... took it to tim's today cause they got the parts in.... tech had a family emergency. so they called to tell me they needed to keep it overnight and give me a rental... figured they were gonna give me a pos toyota of some kind... NOPE i was wrong, the service writer had three keys in his hands and asks "legacy, forester or outback..." they gave me a 2013 outback as a rental car... now that is customer service

Woohoo! I haven't had a chance to meet up with the subi crew since our run to Jerome last year.

It runs a LOT smoother than my beat up old 5 speed, but I'm having some noise while decelerating. I think the mechanic didn't know what the hell he was doing when he put it in. It's not as much of a gas hog as I thought, but damn it keeps my engine revvy. Much more shifting than I'd anticipated. Other than that, I'm loving it. Especially knowing it's going to take a lot more to blow it up.
