That's right! I had forgotten the dual side pipe exhaust was this car.

No. This was with the GTX3582-R. I'll see if I can get a VD plot, I don't recall peak numbers on this. The previous one was 715whp on VD IIRC.

So the dual side-pipes were fun, but I really want to DRIVE this car everyday without attracting law enforcement within a 5 mile radius. So we'll save that for actual events where that kind of obnoxious sound is more appreciated
Not wanting to go back to the 70whp sapping 3" exhaust that was on the car, I went with a 4.0-4.5" to make sure we were going to have similar flow capacity as the dual setup, and not make your ears bleed. Going with tubing that large and wanting to maintain decent undercarriage aero and clearance we used oval tube. Being on the low mount setup, the exhaust path is EXTREMELY straight, further promoting good flow. Factory belly-pan in place... |

^ No you don't. Made +40whp less, more power taper high in the revs and ~200RPMs of better spool. TS is over rated on these cars, especially going with bigger turbo. The ONLY benefit is partial throttle response. Same turbo SS vs TS the SS was faster, it's not eve close to being questionable or debatable.

So Chris do we see this coming to production as a complete package that you offer for sale? Would like to do this to my 07.

I'd like to see that eventually. Right now we're offering it piece meal and not as a 'production' part. Investing into tooling for the whole shebang is huge, and I imagine demand for this type of product to be low. So for the time being we'll be fabricating parts as needed. They will be made ON the car like any custom fab job.

So I may have missed this, but for the "piece meal" parts, are you planning a full turbo back, or just the piping off the turbo to connect with a stock location catback?

Hey
Hey I've been reading this an I'm liking what I see, I'm a joiner not a mechanic so if what I'm away to ask sounds crazy. The one thing I was wondering, instead of the scavenger pump your fitting for the oil feed for the turbo, could you use the sandwich plate off an external oil cooler kit an instead of piping to the cooler core could that be piped to the turbo? I don't know if these reduce flow rate etc was just an idea I had

Any pics of this setup? I see the header on your website but not much info on it as far as what turbos etc this supports.

LMTK PICS As far as what turbo fits this setup; any T3 Tial or Tial compatible turbocharger. So the biggest would be the new GTX3584 that should make +900whp. The smallest we've run on it was the old GTX3071, and it's currently running an old GTX3582-R (Gen I) at 760whp. |
