Default Premium sound on WRX

Hey guys, here's a newbie question for you...

What brand is our factory sound system? I know that the RSX-S has a Bose system and the Mazdaspeed has a Kenwood...so what is ours? Nakimichi?

Amen. Stock (non-premium) made decent first impressions, but my upgraded headunit and speaker in my Grand Am (sans separate amp) kicked the **** out it after listening to it for a week. Save your dough and make upgrades incrementally if you can't afford it all at once. Friends don't let friends listen to stock systems.

Panasonic.

The upgraded system is an excellent, musical setup. Other systems will play louder, thump the bass more, etc. But the Subaru factory upgrade is the rare system that will play my home-made cassettes (made on an audio setup that costs more than my WRX wagon) without EQ being necessary.

Very smooth and musical. But different people define "good sound" in different ways.

oh it panasonic?

i think the speakers are okay, but the headunit could use a little more umph to edit the sound. if you're not into stereo's then its enough i guess. i sold mine and got a alpine.
